In the study, “on average homes listed on Thursdays get $2,352 more than houses listed on Sunday. Yet only 18 percent of sellers list on Thursday”.
This is pretty impressive if you want to maximize your profit. I have listed many homes on Saturday or Sunday, thinking that it will provide a great exposure when in reality those days are some of the worst days to list a house.
If you are wondering, which is the worst day to list a house, that day is Monday. This is by far the worst day of the year if you want to get the best price for your house.
It seems homes listed towards the end of the work week get a better pricing as buyers are preparing their weekends to check homes provided by their realtors or open houses near by the area they are planning to buy.

Many realtors pull automated CMAs, without looking at the quality of the other houses. For this reason I always ask my realtor to carefully look at other house that sold fully renovated and not for the ones selling in As-Is Condition.
